Alex Mullen is a dedicated and passionate dance teacher at Art of Dance, bringing her extensive training and years of experience to inspire young dancers. Having started her dance journey at Art of Dance, Alex spent 15 years honing her skills under their tutelage before venturing to Bodywork Dance College for an additional two years of professional training. During her time at the college, she also specialised in Acrobatic Arts, adding a unique dimension to her dance repertoire.
Since 2013, Alex has been a valued member of the teaching faculty at Art of Dance. Her commitment to nurturing young talent and her ability to connect with students of all ages has made her a beloved figure in the dance community. With expertise in various dance styles, including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Acro, Commercial, Stretch, and Bootcamp, Alex has proven her versatility and adaptability as an instructor.
Alex holds several notable qualifications, including Pre-Associate and Associate Ballet, and Acrobatic Arts certifications. Her continuous pursuit of knowledge and desire to empower her students has driven her to pursue further qualifications in Acro, aiming to enhance the confidence and technique of her students while performing intricate tricks.
Miss Alex’s passion for dance education and her infectious enthusiasm creates a supportive and motivating environment for her students. She primarily focuses on teaching our younger students from 18 months and above, nurturing their love for dance and fostering their growth as artists. Her expertise in various dance styles ensures a well-rounded dance education, allowing students to explore different genres and discover their own unique dance paths.
